Hello! We (Sam and Rhys) have been a couple since we were teenagers, and we’re lucky enough to marry in early 2020 (pre-Covid, phew!) in the stunning Kinglake forest.
We love snowboarding, hiking and traveling together, with our biggest adventure being the time we lived in Banff, Canada for the snow season, followed by travels to Iceland and the USA.
Back home in Aus, we spent a lot of our weekends hiking and exploring the Dandenong Ranges. In early 2023 we cemented our love for this area by purchasing our very own home right in the heart of Mt Dandenong. Nestled amongst the tall Mountain Ash trees native only to a small section of southern Australia, there couldn’t be a more fitting name for our house. Whilst the bones of this late 1930s house were fantastic, we worked for many months to renovate and style Mountain Ash to become the cozy Australiana- themed home that it is today.
